The developers environment of het Nieuwe Stemmen aims at supporting developers in using an reusing Dutch political information in their website. The developers environment consists of a database, API, code repository and a developers website.

Data Sharing

The hart of our developers environment is a database with political information about the Netherlands. In this database you can find all kinds of informations like: politicians, documents, petitions, votes, party's etc. You can communicate with the website as a webservice using an API. Read our Get Started tutorial to get going.

Code Sharing

We think it's improtant that our developers learn from each others code. In the developers enviroment you can launch your project and start sharing your code and experience with other users. Start by setting up a project. You can also find an example PHP binding here.

We took some effort to document our development environment thourougly. Were currently working on our English translation. On the website wiki you can find all the information you need.
